Below are some great quiche basics for any quiche recipe.  Use these recipes to build some of your own great and unique recipes.
I like to use these for days when I have no energy to go to the grocery store.   This is great for cleaning out the fridge!
Basic One Bowl Quiche
Crustless Quiche
Quiche Lorraine

Basic One Bowl Quiche

4 eggs
2 cups milk
1 cup Bisquick baking mix
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup sausage
dash of salt
dash of pepper

Brown meat and onion (until clear). Blend other ingredients in mixing bowl. Stir in meat and onion. Place into a 9-inch deep-dish, sprayed or buttered pie pan (glass pan is best). Let stand 10 minutes and place into half of preheated oven; bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or until center sets. Let stand for at least 5 minutes. Then serve!

Crustless Quiche Recipe

4 eggs
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 Tablespoon flour
2 Tablespoons melted butter
Pinch of salt
Pinch of nutmeg Method
1 cup Cheddar cheese
1 cup Swiss cheese

Beat all the ingredients together with a whisk until blended. Butter (or ‘Pam’) a pie dish and scatter a mixture of grated Cheddar and Swiss cheese over the bottom of the pie dish. Pour egg mixture over top. Sprinkle nutmeg. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes until the custard is firm, puffy & slightly brown.

Hint: You can add fried crumbled bacon, fried mushrooms, peppers etc. Just scatter these in with the cheese before you pour the custard over the top.

Quiche Lorraine

Pastry for 9-inch crust pie
8 tablespoons of bacon bits or 8 slices crisply cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (4 ounces)
1/4 cup of parmesean cheese
1 cup finely chopped onion
4 large eggs
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Heat oven to 425 degrees. In bottom of one crust pastry shell sprinkle bacon, cheeses and onion. Beat eggs; add in remaining ingredients. Pour into quiche dish over bacon, cheese and onion.

Bake 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 300 degrees and bake about 30 minutes longer or until knife in center comes out clean. Check the edges of the pie crust for over browning after 30 minutes.  Cover edges with foil if they begin to overcook.  Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
