Cup Pies

Home >> Pie Q&A >>Cup Pies

Chuck from Pushing Daisies is right. Sometimes a slice of pie is too much, I know she meant too much to eat, but making an entire pie just for a craving is too much, too!

Cup pies are prefect if you are craving a small home-made dessert, without having an entire pie left over.

Key: One single cup pie will make 6 double crust cup pies. The cup pies are easiest in a muffin pan.

If it still worries you, just use a half recipe to make three.

Making Three Cup Pies:

  • 1 and 1/8 cup of flour
  • 1/6 cup of butter
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp of cold water
  • Use a cup and a half of filling. So, if you are making raspberry pie, a half cup of raspberries for each small cup pie.

Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
