Cuisinart Cookware Buying Guide
Versatility and classic are two words that define Cuisinart cookware.
At Pie-Supply.com, we think, if you can not have the set, you can create the set piece by piece. CHEF’S CLASSIC™ NON-STICK STAINLESS COOKWARE
As new technology in stick free cookware has advanced, Cuisinart strives to stay ahead of the game. They typically have high standards for their pots and pans, and it shows when you look at the ratings they get at websites like Amazon or Cooking.com.
This is my personal favorite collection, as it has a beautiful mirror finish and is also non-stick. To me, it is a nice mix of gourmet and quick clean up.
What I love the most about this set is the cool grip handles that keep you from burning your hands, or searching for a pot holder. I was reading the Cuisinart press release about this cookware and they suggest the seven piece set at $325.
Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 7-Piece Cookware Set is available at Amazon.com for only $99.50.
CHEF’S CLASSIC™ HARD ANODIZED SPECIALTY ITEMS
It is difficult to focus on the right cookware when we often consider the ingredients to be the most important. “When it comes to cookware, form really does follow function,” says Mary Rodgers, Director of Marketing Communications for Cuisinart. “For example, soups and stews require tall pots so that the heat can circulate while keeping ingredients submerged and evaporation to a minimum. For dishes that require quick cooking like sautéing, a skillet or sauté pan is better suited because the vessel’s shallow sides and extensive surface area allow more of the food’s surface to be exposed to the heat.”
Mary is right. I usually do not consider what I am cooking in, as much as what I am cooking. Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 12-Piece Cookware Set is an amazing deal at $135 at Amazon.com
